Things our members are watching:
Campaign For Democracy - Gov Gavin Newsom has just launched a new PAC to confront and defeat unAmerican authoritarianism throughout the country. Read about the mission and the existential threats, and sign up to stay informed or get involved.
Tell Senate Democrats - Stop Letting Republicans Block Biden Judges. Indivisible Action. Either contact Senator Padilla & Feinstein directly, or fill out this form and Indivisible will connect you with our Democratic Senators. We want them to support ditching the blue slip rule so we can keep confirming President Biden’s excellent judicial nominees.
Senator Feinstein is home due to extended health issues. She sits on the Judiciary Committee and has missed many votes, which is holding up Biden nominations. She has asked Senator Schumer to temporarily replace her on the Judiciary Committee. It appears unlikely that Republicans will vote to allow a replacement. Some Democrats have started to call on Senator Feinstein to resign. Read this Vox article for more details.
